..with Esa-Pekka Salonen, “Bach Transcriptions” …sea side, vacation soon… also Leopold Stokowski has the most wonderful Bach transcriptions.

from time to time I will show some Ibiza landscapes, we are modern now! our goverment thought that we need a highway! Ibiza -San Antonio about 15km, Ibiza -Airport about 5km, traffic jam entering in town hasn’t changed, BUT we save now some seconds driving 15km! they spend some millions and left a wonderful (horrible) landscape around the highway. Ibiza “white island”.

“Nights in the Gardens of Spain” from Manuel de Falla. the first time I heard this piece was driving through France in a old VW bus, summer, hot air, wind, rushing… late mediterranean nights, listen to it, it is wonderful.

St. Petersburg was a great experience, thank you to the organisation, also thanks to the students of my group, here you can view some of the work done by my students.

In the dark room patience is the most important, sometimes everything comes together and we make nice prints, yesterday it was one of these days. There is no machine that can give you the feeling you have when making your own prints.
